Operated by: By Cordo

Effective Date: 1 April 2026

1. About This Site and Service

By Cordo is a Netherlands-based personal concierge and life management service. These terms govern the bycordo.com website, the byCordo iPhone app, your account, and the concierge services made available through them.

Adults can create an account directly in the byCordo app. Public registration does not guarantee that every requested task can be accepted. We may decline work that is unlawful, unsafe, outside our service scope, or beyond available capacity.

2. Accounts and Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter a contract. You must provide accurate account information and keep access to your device and account secure. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.

You are responsible for requests submitted through your account and for confirming that information you provide may lawfully be used for the requested service.

3. The App, the Trial and Payment

The byCordo app is free. It contains no in-app purchases, no subscriptions and no prices, and no feature, content or data in the app is unlocked by a payment.

  • Every new account includes 4 hours of work by a human assistant, free of charge, available for 30 days. The 30 days start when your assistant first logs completed work.
  • The trial ends when the 4 hours are used or the 30 days have passed, whichever comes first.
  • When the trial ends, only new assistant work pauses. Your account, app access, tasks, messages, calendar and history stay available.
  • Assistant hours beyond the trial are a service performed in the real world. They are agreed and invoiced directly with By Cordo, outside the app. Apple is not a party to that agreement and handles no billing for By Cordo.

Contact support with any question about your account or your trial.

4. Concierge Services

You remain responsible for final decisions and approvals. We do not make purchases or commit you to third-party terms without your approval. Third-party goods, bookings, and services are governed by the provider's own terms, availability, and cancellation rules.

4.1 Prohibited Requests

You may not use byCordo to:

  • break the law, deceive others, or infringe their rights;
  • harass, threaten, exploit, or discriminate against anyone;
  • obtain unauthorized access to accounts, systems, or data;
  • request regulated professional advice we are not qualified to provide;
  • interfere with the app, website, or security controls.

5. Intellectual Property

The byCordo name, app, website, design, software, and original content belong to By Cordo or its licensors. We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable right to use the service while your account remains in good standing. You retain rights in content you submit and permit us to process it only as needed to provide and protect the service.

6. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains what personal data we process, including account information, service requests, and the assistant time recorded on your account. Nothing is sold inside the app, so we do not process payment instruments or card details through it.

7. Suspension and Termination

You may stop using the service at any time, and you can delete your account and its data yourself in the app under Account. We may suspend or close an account for material breach, fraud, abuse, security risk, or unlawful use. Account closure does not remove obligations already incurred.

8. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

The service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. We do not provide legal, medical, financial, or tax advice and do not guarantee third-party availability or outcomes.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, By Cordo is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms excludes liability or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.

9. Governing Law and Consumer Rights

These terms are governed by Dutch law. The competent courts of the Netherlands have jurisdiction, except where mandatory consumer law gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere. Nothing here limits mandatory rights available in your country of residence.

10. Changes and Contact

We may update these terms as the service or law changes. Material changes will be communicated where required. For questions or support, contact:
